Velvet & Moonlight
For the velvet soul with a little rock and roll.
Smoky gray, a flicker of blue, and a shimmer that makes you look twice. This dainty labradorite necklace holds its magic in the details: tiny 3 mm faceted stones that catch the light, revealing flashes of color as you move. Hand knotted on gray Griffin silk, the strand drapes softly along your neckline. Each small knot gives the stones their own space to shine, creating a delicate necklace with a quietly captivating presence.
Wear it close with an open neckline, tuck it beneath a lace collar, or layer it with your favorite longer chains. Think candlelit evenings, well-loved records, and a little mystery carried into the everyday.
The details

Care for Your Little Bit of Moonlight:
Labradorite and natural silk deserve a gentle touch. A few simple habits will help preserve the stones, knots, and finish.
Keep it dry. Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising. Pre-stretched silk still needs protection from soaking, perspiration, and pulling.
Last on, first off. Apply perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and hairspray before putting on your necklace, and allow them to dry. Remove before sleeping to prevent snags and strain.
Clean softly. After wearing, gently wipe the stones and stainless steel with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For spot cleaning, use a barely damp cloth on the beads or hardware, avoiding the silk. Never soak the strand.
Protect the stones. Labradorite can chip or split if struck. Avoid hard knocks, drops, sudden temperature changes, and contact with abrasive surfaces.
Skip the harsh treatments. Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners, jewelry dips, abrasive polishing compounds, or household chemicals.
If the silk gets wet, let it rest. Blot gently and lay the necklace flat on a clean towel until completely dry. Don’t stretch it, hang it to dry, or use direct heat.
Store with care. Lay flat in a soft pouch or lined compartment, separate from other jewelry and away from heat and prolonged sunlight. Check occasionally for fraying, loose knots, or stretched sections; have worn silk assessed for restringing before wearing again.
Keep the drama in your outfit. Keep the care gentle.
