My Story
I started making jewelry because I’ve always loved fun, funky pieces. First for myself, then for family and friends, because making someone something special is one of my favorite ways to say, “I love you.”
The business part? That was inspired by me in my twenties, when I loved cute jewelry but couldn’t always afford it. I haven’t forgotten that girl. She’s a big reason I make beautiful, fun pieces at affordable prices. You deserve to love what you’re wearing without your budget giving you the side-eye.
And yes, there really were rags.
Back in 2015, I was turning old T-shirts into fun, twisted scarves. Twisted Rags was born! When I traded the T-shirts for beads and chains, I wasn’t about to retire a perfectly good name with that much personality. Different materials. Same love of turning something simple into something you can’t wait to wear.
These days, my worktable is all about gemstones, glass and crystal beads, metal chains, and color combinations that make me (and hopefully YOU) happy. Some pieces go big. Some go dainty. Sparkle makes frequent appearances. I’m here for all of it! I handle everything from designing and creating to marketing, selling, and wearing the goods myself.
What I want for you is that moment in the mirror when you put on a piece and think, “There it is. Now this outfit feels like me.” Pulled together. Confident. Ready to have a little fun.
