Midnight Oracle
You know I can’t resist a little shimmer and a little Stevie.
The gray and black patterns in these larvikite beads are beautiful on their own, but that eye pendant? That’s what brings this whole necklace together. Its labradorite center catches flashes of color as the light hits it, giving you a little something extra to admire.
I hand knotted the oval and round beads on gray Griffin silk, taking my time with every knot. I love how the different shapes work together and how the gray cord lets the stones get all the attention.
This is one I’d pair with a flowy top, some favorite rings, and probably a little too much black. Wear it however feels like you. 💜

A quick note about the finishings
I use stainless steel hardware for its strength and resistance to tarnishing. The pendant on this necklace is silver plated, so it needs a little extra care. Its finish can tarnish or wear over time, and keeping it away from water, chemicals, and rubbing helps it stay beautiful.
Thoughtfully crafted, with a twist.
A Little Care Goes a Long Way:
I put care into every knot, and a few simple habits will help you enjoy your necklace for a long time.
Take it off before showering, swimming, working out, or sleeping. The stainless steel hardware is durable, but the silk and silver plated pendant need gentler treatment.
Put it on after your lotions and sprays have dried. Perfume, hairspray, sunscreen, and household cleaners can affect the finish.
Wipe gently after wearing. Use a soft, dry, untreated cloth. If a bead needs spot cleaning, use a barely damp cloth and avoid wetting the silk. Don’t soak the necklace.
Go easy on the pendant. Skip silver polishing compounds, treated polishing cloths, jewelry dips, and scrubbing, which can wear away the plating. No steam or ultrasonic cleaners, either.
Avoid drops and hard knocks. The stones can chip, so give the pendant a little protection when putting the necklace away.
If it gets wet, let it dry flat. Blot gently with a clean towel and leave it flat until completely dry. Don’t hang it or use heat to dry it.
Store it flat and separately. A soft pouch or lined jewelry box works well. Keep the pendant from rubbing against other pieces, and store away from heat and humidity.
Keep an eye on the silk. If you notice fraying, loose knots, or stretching, stop wearing it until it can be checked for restringing.
Wear it, love it, and be a little gentle with it. 💜
