Clear quartz pebble beads catch the light while pre-stretched hand dyed Griffin silk in teal, pink, and purple brings unexpected pops of color between the stones. Each hand tied knot becomes part of the design, giving this necklace a soft, fluid drape and a personality all its own.

A Little Care Keeps the Sunshine Coming:

This necklace combines gemstones, metal, and natural silk, so gentle care helps every element stay beautiful.

  • Keep it dry. Remove before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Stainless steel resists corrosion, but the silk cord needs protection from moisture, perspiration, and repeated exposure to moisture.

  • Last on, first off. Apply perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and hairspray before putting on your necklace. Keep it away from household cleaners and other harsh chemicals.

  • Clean gently. After wearing, wipe the beads and hardware with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For a small spot, use a barely damp cloth on the bead or metal only, avoiding the silk. Never soak the necklace or use jewelry dips, abrasive cleaners, ultrasonic machines, or steam.

  • If it gets wet, let it rest. Gently blot without rubbing or pulling, then lay flat on a clean towel until completely dry. Wet silk can stretch; don’t hang it to dry or use direct heat.

  • Store flat and separately. Keep it in a soft pouch or lined compartment away from prolonged sunlight and heat. Separate storage helps prevent scratches, tangles, and snags.

  • Be gentle with the knots. Avoid tugging or stretching. Check occasionally for fraying, loose knots, or gaps between beads. If the silk shows wear, have it assessed for restringing before wearing it again.
